SPEAK Stall in Oxford

Members of Bedford Animal Action and their supporters were busy again this weekend, holding an information stall in Oxford City Centre.  BAA and many other groups and organisations are opposing the new animal lab being built on South Parks Road in Oxford, on the grounds that animal experiments are cruel and worthless.

Many leaflets were given out to the public, including the purely scientific argument against animal testing and also information relating to the ethical issues of vivisection.  We had much support as usual, with people coming up to us and saying they are very disappointed with Oxford University and they believe such an institution should be leading the way in human based medical research which would be much safer for human illnesses, rather than relying on outdated and dangerous animal experimentation.

Bedford Animal Action campaign against a variety of animal exploitation issues, whether it be animal experimentation, animals as clothing or animals used in entertainment.

Further information regarding the futility of animal experiments can be found on ‘The Absurdity of Vivisection’ website
